Q: I have a Canon XL-1 and I recorded multiple channels of audio using a couple of mics. I know video for windows (AVI) only supports a single stereo channel, can I capture the other channels?

A: Yes. With Rex Video software you can set the capture to capture all 4 32kHz channels at one time. To do this select "Capture audio from track 3 & 4" from the Settings pull-down menu in Rex Video. When you capture, a new AVI will be captured with two tracks and 2 new .WAV files will be captured. Position these files in Rex Edit or MSPro for editing.
