The DataTale 2 and 4-Bay RAID Systems implement not only the most common RAID modes, but also more advanced RAID functions. It offers a variety of RAID modes to target different data storage applications.
The 2-Bay System is recommended for beginner users, which include RAID 0 (Striping), RAID 1 (Mirroring), and JBOD (Just a Bunch Of Disks).
The 4-Bay System is recommended for more advanced users, which include RAID 0 (Striping), RAID 1 (Mirroring), RAID 5, RAID 5+HotSpare, and RAID 0+1.

User Friendly Installation
The next generation RAID Systems combined with the SmartGuider™ will eliminate the need for a physical tray mechanism and simplify installation. The integrated handles enable flexibility in removal and insertion of the HDDs with ease. The RAID mode switch will allow users to change modes without any expertise or additional software.

Multiple Interfaces
No matter what type of interfaces are equipped with your computer, the DataTale Systems can be easily connected to your computer right out of the box. It comes with the foremost universal interfaces including: 1394a, 1394b, USB 2.0, and eSATA.

Excellent Heat Dissipation
Like all O¡PTOSTORE products, the DataTale System also features an outstanding mechanical design and a rugged elegance of aluminum. The high quality, silent-running fans will assist in blows excess hot air from the bottom to the top, while passing through the internal HDDs. This will dramatically enhance internal air flow and efficiently cool the high RPM SATA HDDs.
